Struggling after his father's death, Josh goes to visit his father's oldest friend Ray, who lives off-grid in remote Wales. Surrounded by wild birds, Josh finds an abandoned egg and is compelled to find its nest to return it and takes Ray along with him. While talking, the two men find a way of sharing their grief and looking forward.
