Documentary about the first all-female progressive rock band from Romania. Formed in 1968, CATENA was the most important all-female rock bands in Romania. Led by guitarist Anca Vijan and drummer Lidia Creangă, the band took the national scene by storm in the early 1970s with their original compositions and memorable appearances on national radio and television. Left without any official full-length albums due to state censorship and abruptly brought to an end when their leader emigrated to Germany, Catena's story remains a fascinating chapter of musical emancipation.
