Baruch Auerbach, an unlucky-in-love Orthodox matchmaker from Bnei Brak, is finally engaged to struggling pastry chef Ruth but their financial woes make the loved-up pair’s dream wedding impossible. When American Jewish Orthodox millionaire Michael Gerstel offers a $100,000 to anyone capable of finding a suitable match for his only daughter, Baruch is left with no option but to reunite with his mentor/adversary, Malki, for the matchmaking mission of-a-lifetime.
