Set against the backdrop of the construction of the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge—one of China’s major infrastructure projects—and the joint hosting of the 15th National Games by the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macau Greater Bay Area, the film follows the journey home of a Chinese white dolphin named "Zhuzhu." Through the eyes of the film crew and researchers tracking its migratory path, the documentary portrays the journey of this rare species, which was forced to temporarily leave its habitat due to the bridge's construction and, after many hardships and twists and turns, managed to return to its old home.
