Spacey Jane - Live At State of the Art Festival
2016 / 31 min / Music
This performance took place on June 4, 2018, at Elizabeth Quay in Perth, Western Australia, as part of the State of the Art Festival featuring local indie acts. The band delivered a 45-minute set containing festival favorites and early tracks from their EP In the Meantime. Video footage sampled on YouTube includes songs such as “Neoprene” (0:32), “So You Wanna” (5:13), “Feels Better” (9:00), “Feeding the Family” (14:03), “Still Running” (19:34), and “Old Enough” (23:30) This show was part of a brief national tour in early June, with the State of the Art Festival being the event's standout performance YouTube. Spacey Jane’s live set highlighted their transition from garage-leaning indie rock toward a more melodic, folk-influenced direction, a shift that would characterize their later releases (In the Slight EP and Sunlight album)
